C. Bechstein is proud of a defect rate below 0.01 percent. That is exceptionally low. Our outstanding Six Sigma quality management gives you the assurance of carefree and enjoyable music-making. It is no coincidence that hundreds of very old C. Bechstein instruments around the world are still in service. Therefore, when you return the completed warranty card, we are pleased to provide a five-year warranty with every new instrument – far beyond the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty also applies to Bechstein, W. Hoffmann made by C. Bechstein Europe and Zimmermann, designed by C. Bechstein.

When you purchase your instrument, you will receive a warranty booklet. It contains valuable advice on preserving the value of your precious instrument, along with all important warranty provisions. An upright or grand piano needs a suitable place in your home. Your new instrument should be cared for properly, inside and out. It requires qualified technical service so that it always remains well tuned, perfectly regulated and expertly voiced. The warranty booklet makes it easy to keep a complete service record for your valuable instrument and to document continuous, qualified maintenance if you later decide to sell it.
