"It is rare that a piano is capable of realizing an artist's boldest ideas about sound, color and touch. Bechstein concert grand pianos embody this quality, and it is an unforgettable feeling on stage when an instrument of this format challenges you to dream bigger and explore the sound to greater depths."

Vincent Ling

Born in 2000 to Bolivian-Chinese parents in the United Kingdom, the concert pianist embarked on his formative years at the Royal College of Music Junior Department in London under Nataša Lipovšek, where he made his debut solo recital at the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room and two festival appearances at the Wigmore Hall. At 15 he received 1st prize at the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe’s Junior Intercollegiate Piano Competition, where his performance at the national-level competition was described as having “maturity and polish that belied his years” (Malcolm Miller 2016).

In 2022, he made his Austrian solo debut at the Wienermusikverein’s Gläserner Saal in Vienna, where he performed a self-curated programme of works by Reynaldo Hahn, and was invited to perform in the “Earthquake” concert series for young international artists in Friedrichshafen, Germany. In 2024, he played at Topsham Music Festival U.K. and at the Association Arcades in Le Buisson de Cadouin, France, and as of this year is a recipient of the CLAVARTE Foundation scholarship.
