"I associate the soul of a Bechstein with the mixture of the colors orange and yellow. Like the sun - warm and caring"
Hanni Liang
Hanni Liang understands concerts as open spaces for encounters and works as an artist in the field of new performance practices. As a pianist, she can be heard in solo performances, such as in the Elbphilharmonie with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen or at the Ruhr Piano Festival, as well as in concert performances developed by her, which artistically express contemporary themes and which she performs at venues such as Heidelberger Frühling, Mozartfest Würzburg, Konzerthaus Berlin, Haus Styriarte Graz, Nottingham Concert Hall, Pinakothek der Moderne. With the aim of promoting a more humane coexistence and a sustainable society as a musician, she consciously goes beyond the boundaries of the classical concert. She currently teaches concert design at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.
