A pianist needs a right instrument to present his works. C. Bechstein is not only a 'right' one, but rather a magic instrument for all.

After winning the first prize at the International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn 2019 and the bronze medal at the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition 2021 in Tel Aviv, Cunmo Yin started his professional career and is performing in the greatest halls all over the world.
Cunmo Yin was born in China in 1993. At the age of 9, he got his first piano lesson, and shortly after, he had already his first public performance. In 2014, Cunmo Yin already recorded all transcendental etudes from Franz Liszt, and in 2009, he won the second prize as the youngest participant in the Shanghai Piano Competition. In 2018, he was awarded the prize of the President at the Felix-Mendelssohn-Bartholdy University Competition. In the same year he was awarded both the first prize and the audience prize at the International Piano Competition `A. Scriabin` in Grosseto, Italy. 2021 he was granted a scholarship from Carl Bechstein Foundation.
Cunmo Yin has performed recitals in Europe (for ex. Brucknerhaus Linz, Austria; Milano; Grosseto) the USA and Asia. He performed in the most famous concert halls like the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, in the Elbphilharmony Hamburg, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Konzerthaus Berlin and the Robert-Schumann- Hall Düsseldorf, Germany. He has worked together with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the Konzerthaus Berlin Orchestra, the Beethoven Philharmony Bonn and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. 2022 he graduated in postgraduate solo performance class with his professor Gerrit Zitterbart.
Currently Cunmo Yin is a faculty member at the Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media.
