Konstantin Emelyanov

OVER TIME

Fuga Libera OVER TIME

As the winner of the 11th International German Pianist Prize, Konstantin Emelyanov released his new CD "OVER TIME" with the G major/G minor suite of the Nouvelles Suites de pièces de clavecin by Jean-Phillippe Rameau, the Corelli Variations by Rachmaninoff and the 3 .French suite by J.S.Bach. By putting together these works, the pianist says he wants to paint a picture of nostalgia for a Golden Age: an era of eternal beauty and purity in which time itself has a completely different meaning.

The album was recorded in summer 2023 with a C. Bechstein D 282 concert grand piano at the Casals Forum in Kronberg.
