Tsotne Zedginidze, born in 2009, showed great enthusiasm for opera, ballet, instrumental and vocal music from an early age and is already internationally recognised as a pianist and composer of exceptional talent. Tsotne gave his first public piano concert in Tbilisi in June 2019, followed by a performance at the Telavi International Music Festival and the season-opening concert with the Georgian National Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2020, Tsotne premiered his composition ‘The Bells’ for piano and has since performed a number of his own compositions throughout Europe. He premiered his sonata for violin and piano together with the dedicatee Lisa Batiashvili at the Tsinandali Festival and other works at the Verbier Festival. Tsotne has already performed at the Kissinger Sommerfest, at Schloss Elmau and as part of concerts organised by the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation at the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Berlin Philharmonie. He also performed in Munich in 2024 under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle with members of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
