New W.HOFFMANN brand models

C. Bechstein Europe is introducing three new models of the W. HOFFMANN Vision series to the market: the V 126 and the V 131 upright pianos offer great sound for low investment. The V 175 grand piano bridges the gap between the V 158 and V 183 models.

Quality from Europe

Since its launch in 2009, W. HOFFMANN brand instruments have written a real success story: in the first quarter of 2010, almost all the annual production was already sold. The W.HOFFMANN Vision series, developed in the German Bechstein Piano Centre of Excellence for Research and Development answering to C. Bechstein Europe in the Czech Republic, sets striking accents due to its excellent price-performance ratio, and is today the strong sounding European alternative to instruments from Asian manufacturing.

Building on this success, the already existing two Vision upright piano models are now getting "big brothers:" The two upright pianos V 126 and V 131 shine with precise action and a classic body, have due to their height a much more voluminous sound, which allows fine nuances. Particularly impressive is the sound spectrum of the V 131, which is in the tradition of a German concert upright piano.

Even with the V 126 and V 131 models, the strings are held successively in place by agraffes. The pianos have three pedals (including moderator). According to German C. Bechstein tradition, the instruments are individually voiced in definite steps manually and with the help of the human ear.

Highly desirable is also the new W.HOFFMANN Vision 175 grand piano. The complete quality assurance, from the definition and testing of all components, is performed by experienced piano makers at the C. Bechstein Europe factory. Even with these W.HOFFMANN Vision instruments, the back post consists of medium-hard solid wood. The soundboard core and the ribs are made of spruce wood, bridges and pin block of hard wood, housing etc. from massive timber. In classic style, the plate is cast from grey iron poured into a sand form. The grand piano has three pedals (including sostenuto pedal). The keyboard cover is equipped with lock and cover brake. For the hammers, noble English sheep felt is used. The hammers are voiced individually by hand and ear. Likewise, these new grand pianos are marked with a very balanced touch and an exceptionally pleasant sound. C. Bechstein Europe in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, guarantees the consistently high quality of the grand piano.Manufacturer's guarantee five years
