Suk-Yeon Kim

Suk-Yeon Kim was born 1988 in South Korea. In her study time at the Dae Jeon Arts High School with Ji-Yeon Kim from 2004 to 2006 she won first prize at the Chungnam University Competition and second prize at the CBS Music Competition.

Since October 2007, Suk-Yeon Kim has been studing at the Robert Schumann University Düsseldorf in the piano class of Georg Friedrich Schenck. Since February 2008 she is receiver of the German Academic Exchange Service scholarship. In 2008 Suk-Yeon Kim won first prize at the Emanuel Moór Piano Competition, in April 2009 first prize at the Bechstein Competition Düsseldorf.
