Thus, he played in 2005 the main role in the movie film Pingpong, which was distinguished at the Cannes Film Festival with many prizes. Then, too, as of 2006 he studied piano and conducting with Matthias Kirschnereit, Markus Schirmer and Karl-Heinz Will. In 2007 he achieved the breakthrough as he won the Musikpreis der deutschen Wirtschaft endowed with Euro 10,000. From then on Clemens Berg played concerts at home and abroad. Thereby he collaborated with numerous famous orchestras. In 2010 he interpreted on a C. Bechstein concert grand piano in the Duisburg Mercatorhalle with the Duisburg Philharmonic Schnittke's Piano Concerto. In 2008 Clemens Berg's debut CD appeared under the Oehms Classics label. In 2010 there appeared a live recording of his debut concert at the Piano Festival Ruhr. Since 2009 Clemens Berg has been living in Frankfurt am Main, where he along with his activity as pianist has additionally enrolled in a study of mathematics at the Goethe University.
