Dina Ugorskaja plays Bach and Chopin

In March 2004 Dina Ugorskaja recorded on the C. Bechstein concert grand piano in the Detmold Summer Theater, which her father (Anatol Ugorski) selected for the theater, 15 Inventions of Johann Sebastian Bach and Preludes Opus 28 by Frédéric Chopin. The tension between the deceptive simplicity of Bach and the quietness compelling complexity in Chopin attracted Dina Ugorskaja to make this combination. Hans Jörg Wangner exclaimed in the Stuttgarter Zeitung: "Dina Ugorskaja phrases wisely, she can nuance her dynamics very sensitively and she has a lot of energy for the work - in short, a pure delight."
