Bechstein piano competitions encourage young musicians. Great pianists record on Bechstein. In the tradition of the founder, Bechstein contributes to shaping the music scene worldwide.
Bechstein supports piano culture
Since its inception, promoting piano-culture is part of C. Bechstein Pianofortefabrik's mission. At the beginning of the 20th Century, Bechstein halls in Berlin, London, Paris and St. Petersburg were focal points of concert life. Today, many concerts and events take place in C. Bechstein centers worldwide. Bechstein promotes pianists from the company's home country particularly intensively. Performing in the C. Bechstein piano recitals are internationally known pianists, such as among others Michel Dalberto, Kemal Gekic and Steven Osborne. Also playing in this series are young shooting stars and prize winners like Clemens Berg, Dudana Mazmanishvili, Denys Proshayev, David Theodor Schmidt, Francesco Tristano and Haiou Zhang.
